Abstract: Papers written, compiled, and collected by Archbell, United Daughters of the Confederacy leader, concerning the Civil War on the North Carolina coast, including historical articles, reminiscences dictated to Archbell, miscellaneous notes, words to Confederate songs, and clippings. Also included is a diary, 1900, which Anne Enid Archbell kept when she was a young girl in Kinston and New Bern, N.C.
