We’ve added a lot of new content to the CDR over the past few months!  Here are a few highlights:
Tropical Tongues: Language Ideologies, Endangerment, and Minority Languages in Belize
Tropical Tongues is an open access ebook published in partnership with the Institute for the Study of the Americas and UNC Press.  It looks at language in coastal Belize after the country’s independence movement.  Tropical Tongues is the first ebook in the Studies in Latin America series and additional books will also be made available in the CDR.
 
Master’s papers for the Physician Assistant Program
The Physician Assistant Program’s mission is to “promote high-quality, accessible, patient-centered health care for the people of North Carolina and the nation through excellence in education, scholarship, and clinical service.”  The program has submitted 17 capstone papers, which are freely available in the CDR.
 
Dr. Charles Perou’s papers
As part of an initiative to preserve the scholarship of prominent faculty, the CDR has collected 50 papers authored or co-authored by Dr. Charles Perou.  Perou is the May Goldman Shaw Distinguished Professor of Molecular Oncology.   His research investigates breast cancer and cancer genetics.  Read more about Dr. Perou and his research at the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
 
Traces: The UNC-CH Journal of History
Traces is a publication of the UNC History department, which showcases undergraduate student research.  Volume 5 contains articles on racial integration, nineteenth-century legal cases, the Cherokee Indian Fair, the Human Genome Project, and paternalism.
