Official University Materials

One of the largest sources of primary material related to UNC is the university itself. University Archives is the official repository for the permanent, official records of the university. University Archives maintains a blog, For the Record, to promote materials held in its collections and notable events and persons from the university’s rich and varied history. Because University Archives is also responsible for records management at the university, History on the Hill has filtered only the content related to university history and archives here.

Additionally, regular content related to university history is published and promoted by the News and Events blog from UNC Library. The content specifically related to UNC history is here.
