Visit Wilson Library During CHAT Festival

The Wilson Special Collections Library will be a venue for the CHAT Festival, taking place Feb. 16 – 20, 2010, on the UNC campus.

CHAT (Collaborations: Humanities, Arts & Technology) will draw together diverse digital resources of the Triangle and explore the ways that digital technologies are transforming the arts and humanities.

In Wilson Library, festival-goers will be able to view the interactive projects and art of faculty members.

Participants on the Festival Art Walk will also have the opportunity to visit the Carolina Digital Library and Archives in Wilson Library for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Library’s Scribe high-speed scanners and a chance to learn about the process of bringing rare library materials online. Refreshments will be offered as part of the tour.
