Tommy Edwards and Friends will make a special appearance in Wilson Library, performing music and answering questions for students in History 571, Southern Music. The public is invited to attend this free event.
Tommy Edwards and Friends is a group with a rich history in bluegrass. Tommy Edwards, lead singer and songwriter, has been performing bluegrass music for more than 45 years. As co-founder and guitar player for The Bluegrass Experience, he has twice been named the champion bluegrass guitar player at Fiddler’s Grove.
Edwards will be joined by banjoist Stan Brown, singer and bassist LaNelle Davis, and fiddler Greg Luck.
