The brilliant and hilarious acoustic jazz guitarist Marty Grosz will give a live performance April 12 in Wilson Library. The one-hour event will begin at noon and is free and open to the public.

Grosz is one of today’s foremost jazz rhythm guitarists and chord soloists. His solos bring back the sound of Carol Kress and Dick McDonough of the 1930s, while his vocals are very much in the Fats Waller tradition.

The program is sponsored by UNC’s Southern Folklife Collection and the Duke University Library.
