Remembering Dean Smith, 1931-2015

Former UNC basketball coach Dean Smith died at home Saturday in Chapel Hill at the age of 83. We join the University and the state in marking the passing of a man who changed basketball, the University, and too many lives to count. It is our honor to share these memories of a Carolina legend, drawn from the Library collections.
