The program again coincides with Nowruz, the Persian New Year that is a traditional time of joy and a celebration of the coming of spring.

Come enjoy Persian cookies and tea, view recent additions to the Persian Studies collections, and hear from graduate students Matt Hotham, Matt Lynch, and Candace Mixon, as they discuss their research and recent travels to Iran. UNC Professor Carl Ernst, chair of the Persian Studies program, will provide context.
