Make a Map for GIS Day Competition

Do you map? This contest is for you!

GIS Day is November 18 and the Research Hub in Davis Library will celebrate with a lecture and a student map competition.

Enter your map by November 14 and compete for a cash prize; winner to be determined by popular vote.

Also on GIS Day, GIS consultant and UNC alum Tim Stallmann (’06, M.A. ’12) will speak about “Mapping for Social Change.” Stallmann designs maps for individuals, businesses, and non-profits through his Durham-based business. A coffee and networking hour will conclude the event.
