Please Help Us Review Cambridge University Press Journal Titles

UPDATE April 15, 2016: The review period for these journals has now ended. We have removed the list of titles in order to avoid confusion. The UNC Library always welcomes your suggestions about library collections. Please contact us.

The UNC Library is undertaking a routine evaluation of online journal titles that are part of a multi-year contract with Cambridge University Press.

Before entering into negotiations regarding contract renewals, the Library has identified nearly 200 journals from the current contract that may be candidates for cancellation.

These titles have all registered either low use as compared with other titles in the package or a high cost-per-use during the current subscription period.

We invite members of the UNC community to provide feedback about this list. We are especially interested in hearing about titles that are critical to your research.

Please note that some titles continue to be available to UNC faculty and students via other sources. In addition, the Library will continue to provide access via interlibrary borrowing to articles from any journal that we do not own or license.

If you have questions regarding this process, please contact Luke Swindler, Collections Management Officer.
