Wikipedia Edit-a-thons Offer Chance to Write History

Six Wikipedia edit-a-thons this spring will give participants a chance to contribute to the Internet’s largest free reference site.

UNC librarians and library science students at each #wikiNC event will offer guidance about research and will show attendees how to add scholarly content to Wikipedia. No experience is necessary and there is no charge for the events, which are open to the public.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop computer.
