    Thank you for this lovely tribute, Claudia.
    Yes, this is a wonderful picture of George–one that I had momentarily forgotten. It conveys well, I believe, the timeless nature of his concern for the history of mankind and his/her thoughts and productions–especially in print and picture.

    George Stuart will be alive in the Wilson Library forever. The light of his tremendous intelligence will shine through the collections and papers he gave and generations of scholars will benefit from them.
