Reviewing Masters Papers and Honors Theses in the CDR

Initiating the Review Process

The review process initiates when you receive an email from CDR notifying you that a deposit is ready for review.  Alternatively, you can check your review queue by logging in to the CDR and clicking on “Review Submissions” in the left menu.

Navigate to the work under review by clicking on the work title in the email or on the Review Submissions page.

Requesting Changes From the Depositor

If you would like to request that the depositor make changes to the work, click on the “Review and Approval” banner.

In the “Actions” menu, select “Request Changes.”  You may use the “Review comment” box to send the changes directly to the depositor via the CDR. If you would rather communicate your change request outside of the CDR, leave this box blank.  Once you are done, click “Submit.”

The depositor will be sent an email indicating that you have requested revisions.

Approving the Work

Once the work is ready to be published, click on the “Review and Approval” banner.

In the “Actions” menu, select “Approve” and click “Submit.”  The submission will be published according to the access restrictions selected by the depositor.
