Not everybody bought into Appomattox

On this day in 1876: The United States celebrates its centennial with a grand exposition in Philadelphia, but some Southerners have yet to reconcile with the Union. As passengers at the Concord depot wait for a train to Philadelphia, diehard Confederates assault them with rocks.
