I grew up in Waynesville.
I have lost/ misplaced/ can’t find the
recipe for Swiss Pickles.
They are sliced thin w/ vegetable peeler.
Alum soak.

Hi Judy,
I can’t say I’m familiar with the Swiss Pickle but I found a few things that may (or may not) be close. Mostly what I found were recipes for Swiss Chard Pickles but I’m not sure that’s what you have in mind. I’ve added to the end of the pickle day blog post a few recipes I thought may be similar to what you describe. Let me know if they are helpful at all.
