Earth and Other Ethics

Should rivers and trees enjoy the protection of the law? Are we obliged to protect our twenty-second-century descendants from the contamination of today’s nuclear trash? Christopher Stone, the author of Earth and Other Ethics, discusses these and other questions relating to environmental preservation.

At the time of this interview, Stone was professor of law at the University of Southern California.

This edition of Soundings was conducted by Wayne J. Pond.
