The CDR in 2021
We’ve been hard at work to make research openly available this year! Here are some highlights:
- We added 9,892 works to the CDR
- We recorded 354,082 unique pageviews and 2,208,949 downloads
- The most downloaded work was “The Kongo Rule: The Palo Monte Mayombe Wisdom Society”, which had 13,140 downloads
Our notable projects this year include:
- We added a final large batch of works from the 1Science report in June and completed the project.
- We continued to review CVs of UNC faculty and deposit eligible scholarship.
- We continued a project to preserve coronavirus research at UNC-Chapel Hill.
- We completed a preliminary assessment of subject coverage, gender and race in CDR content.
Earlier this month, we published a report that highlights the work done this year. Read the full report! Previous years’ reports, including updates on the CDR’s open content initiatives are available in the Carolina Digital Repository Reports collection.
