Convergence in Crisis

Stanley Fish and Fredric Jameson discuss a conference at Duke University in 1988 entitled Convergence in Crisis: Narratives of the History of Theory, which focused on the disciplines of history, literary studies, and cultural studies.

At the time of this interview, Fish, a Fellow at the National Humanities Center (1991-92), was professor of English at Duke University. Jameson was director of the Graduate Program in Literature at Duke University.
